Sales Engineer

• Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to win new business by running discovery sessions, delivering tailored demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and solution architectures, and acting as the product expert who can map features to customer needs.
• Translate capabilities into business value by designing integrations, workflows, and configurations that align with customer systems and articulating ROI, security compliance, and scalability benefits to IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering when customization or roadmap discussions are required.
• Collect and prioritize customer feedback to inform the product roadmap and advise marketing on competitive positioning and messaging based on field learnings.
• Train new sales hires and enable channel/partner sales teams.
• Present and demonstrate Zello’s capabilities to enterprise customers and support converting prospects into customers.
• Travel as required to support sales opportunities (could be up to ~50%).

Platform Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain platform services that support Zello’s development teams
• Develop automation, tooling, and processes to improve the developer experience
• Partner with other engineers and security to define and evolve infrastructure standards and patterns.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and responsiveness for critical services
• Identify issues before they become problems and take ownership from concept to delivery.
• Mentor other engineers by sharing expertise, reviewing code, and driving adoption of best practices.
