About the role

  • As a BIM & Mapping Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our security systems infrastructure by ensuring accurate and standards-compliant documentation and integration.
  • This role is essential in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and usability of security record drawings, CAD content, and LenelS2 map integrations.
  • You are a resourceful, knowledgeable, and self-motivated security professional who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Other duties as assigned, including supporting basic design tasks, developing basic security floor layouts, and preparing system drawings.
  • Technical Support & Collaboration: Deliver frontline (Tier 1) technical support, primarily focused on map integration and record document archiving.
  • Support record document review for unintegrated projects and assist in reconciling issues found with appropriate parties.
  • Work collaboratively with the BIM Lead on projects from design to closeout.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of AutoCAD and/or Revit experience in a professional environment required
  • Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience
  • Electronic security experience with vendor-specific knowledge (Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with LenelS2 OnGuard access control/mapping is highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and work quality
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
