Financial Planning and Analysis

• Serve as a key partner in delivering the 2030 international growth ambitions, with a focus on strengthening unit economics and sales growth to accelerate the development pipeline.
• Monitor critical growth initiatives, ensuring annual business unit profit targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Partner with Global FP&A, International Leadership Team (ILT), and business unit leaders to provide performance updates, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Senior Manager, International Finance – Strategy

Director

• Develop a holistic, long-term M&A & deal strategy to identify a roadmap and target areas for potential future acquisitions of Pizza Hut and our franchisees, collaborating closely with Pizza Hut’s Development team, Yum M&A and local market resources
• Depending on deal size and complexity, lead, support and/or coordinate key aspects of deal sourcing and execution (e.g., deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation analysis, creating final binding agreements, presenting to deal committee, coordinating with external advisors, integration planning, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with local market leaders to develop and pressure-test development agreements to unlock growth of our existing franchisee base

Brand Manager – Creative Brand Strategy

Manager

• Act as a single point of contact for franchise development-related activities in the assigned territory and assigned non-traditional channel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, licensees, and real estate partners to influence development and ensure commitments align with market plans.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchisees to ensure successful store openings and adherence to market plans.
• Manage and support all phases of franchise & license development lifecycle, including market planning, site selection & approval, real estate contract negotiation, permitting, construction, and turnover/grand opening on projects from inception.
• Ensure timely approval and execution of development actions, maintaining accurate forecasting and risk assessments.

• Lead calendar reviews with KFC US LT and franchisee leadership (incl. NCAC, NMS, and REC sub-committees).
• Collaborate closely with the Retail Test Marketing Leader to define the right markets / parameters, analyze results, and scale forecasts for tests
• Enable the success of KFC US test markets by setting expectations, providing financial support, and effectively measuring success

• Own the strategy and end-to-end commercial planning for national and test market calendars.

Director, Menu and Calendar

• Lead Strategic Planning partnership and analysis on growth initiatives related to Digital, including strategic thought leadership, channel development, test markets and national promotions.
• Support and influence KFC and franchisee stakeholders in making critical business decisions in the digital commerce space with data driven insights.
• Also support and learn KFC’s core business while its E-commerce team is developing.

Senior Manager, Digital Strategic Planning

• Own the field reporting process by consolidating and analyzing information for KFC US leadership on a routine basis.
• Analysis of period financial performance for all equity restaurants and their impact on KFC’s overall financial performance, with specific attention paid to outlier restaurants.
• Support the KFC FP&A team to forecast future results including risks and opportunities based on current trends.
• Identify equity best practices and facilitate sharing with the franchise system (and vice versa) through the System Financial Health platform of the NCAC Restaurant Economics Committee (REC).

Associate Manager, Field Finance and Equity

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Strategy & Planning, Creative, Social, Partnerships and CRM to ensure cohesive and effective media campaigns.
• Lead the planning, negotiation, and execution of media buys across various channels including TV, digital, audio, social, and print.

• Identify and action against trade areas best suited to urban development.
• Identify opportunities in rural markets to develop small freestanding assets or viable endcaps with drive-thru or inline assets.
• Identify areas where new franchisees are needed and partner with the Franchise Recruiting team to recruit.
• Develop, fill, and maintain the pipeline of new restaurants; Forecast the timeline of new restaurant openings and assess risks.
• Act as owner for designated markets and help lead the broader development team toward the development goals established in those trade areas.
