About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage a team of food innovation and technology specialists, providing strategic direction and guidance.
Develop and execute innovative food concepts and technologies to enhance the KFC Asia brand and customer experience.
Collaborate with franchise partners to understand their needs and align innovation efforts with their goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food innovation and technology, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including franchise owners, suppliers, and industry experts.
Oversee the implementation of new food concepts, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and brand standards.
Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify opportunities for menu development and improvement.
Manage and optimize the food innovation and technology budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Provide regular progress reports and present innovative ideas to senior leadership and franchise partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years of experience in food innovation, technology, or a related field, preferably in the QSR, retail, or FMCG sectors.
Proven track record of leading and managing successful food innovation projects or initiatives.
Strong understanding of franchise management principles and the ability to influence and collaborate with franchise partners.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
A degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications or qualifications in food innovation and technology.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for menu development, recipe management, and food innovation.
A passion for the QSR sector, with a desire to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
