Senior Backend Engineer

Product Marketing

• Maintain strong communications between Product, Demand Gen / Growth Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
• Work with product to plan feature releases
• Develop copy for in-app feature releases
• Build consistent product release communications for current customers
• Build consistent marketing communications for mid-funnel pipeline (email, retargeting ads, direct mail)
• Develop consistent organic product marketing content for social media
• Manage social media / community engagement
• Work with customers and Customer Success to develop Case Studies

• Work with customers to identify solutions to their problems. This includes direct outreach to customers, being part of support/success emails/calls, customer onboarding's, UX and error analysis.
• Figure out how to make solutions to customer issues scalable to all customers within our ecosystem.
• Work with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Success, Sales, and Security teams to build the correct solution. (Having a technical background is helpful)
• Manage progress on projects. Help unblock engineers. Push engineers to meet specific timelines.
• Document product features in a scalable way so Marketing, Support, Success, Sales, and Security teams are aligned and can easily understand how the product works. This also includes dogfooding our product to backdate documentation we are missing today.
• Handle release schedules making sure all necessary teams are fully caught up to speed on new functionality. Giving them enough time to plan marketing releases, sales trainings, support material, pricing updates, and security documentation.
• Build *external* and *internal* products.
• Help with QA (making sure features work correctly by dogfooding our product, verifying copy, etc…)
• Manage change logs and improve processes

Account Executive

• Executing demos with new inbound and outbound leads.
• Engaging buying committees and closing new Yourco customers.
• Sourcing new opportunities by outbound prospecting (linkedIn, email, cold calling, direct mail), networking, and referrals.
• Attending events to open up doors with new clients.

• Create and build relationships with Insurance & Employee Benefit Brokers.
• Network with insurance brokers to open up new opportunities.
• Build relationships with partners through events such as dinners, lunches, sporting events, concerts, etc.
• Demo Yourco to insurance brokers and their clients.
• Close new business.
• Travel and connect in person with referral partners at least once per week to strengthen the partnership for long-term success.
