• Provide opportunities for personal and staff spiritual growth; lead with a posture of prayer and Christ-like service.
• Manage Young Life’s ecommerce relationship with fulfillment vendor, ensuring operational excellence, product appeal, and ministry alignment.
• Communicate weekly with the ecommerce partner specialists to maintain strong collaboration.
• Assist in seasonal and event-based product selection for online sales.
• Develop and execute annual and long-term marketing strategies, measuring effectiveness through analytics.
• Use social media, direct marketing, weekly/periodic publications, and digital tools to promote products and campaigns.
• Ensure visual appeal and accuracy of online content and marketing materials in partnership with vendor.
• Anticipate customer needs and foster a guest-focused retail strategy.
• Ensure a high level of customer service for both customers and Young Life staff.
• Support budget development and monitor financial and analytical reports, including royalties, expenses, KPIs, and sales performance.
• Run and evaluate sales and financial reports to inform decisions and product selection.
• Manage the Lobby Store at the Service Center: Select products using sales trends and top performer reports.
• Ensure space is re-stocked and displays are refreshed quarterly.
• Manage POS system and backups. Troubleshoot technology concerns.
• Implement marketing strategies specific to the Lobby Store.
• Create and maintain training materials; train staff and volunteers in customer care, stocking, opening/closing procedures.
• Lead operations of the All-Staff Conference/Celebration store every 4 years: Oversee product line selection, staffing schedule, and operational plan.
• Secure and install all store fixtures and design elements.
• Create and execute all marketing before, during and after event. Lead relationship with staff gift coordinator.
• Collaborate with Legal, Mar-Com, and Regional Staff on ecommerce and retail initiatives.
• Support annual 3E Board of Directors meetings. Participate in training and development opportunities; contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Provide guidance to Lobby Store staff. Lead temporary or volunteer retail staff during major events (e.g., Staff Conference).

Ecommerce Retail Manager

Director

• Ensure the campaign case is complete and includes all key components, especially the budget section and the gift plan.
• Ensure that a campaign budget is developed and includes the cost of development, communication and data management and is approved by the Chief Development Officer (CDO).
• Set the timetable for the campaign and the monthly targets to be met to reach the goal.
• Develop prospects and when appropriate act as a primary caller or a secondary caller available to participate in donor solicitation meetings.
• Lead, train, supervise, support, sustain and thank this staff so that they succeed in their work.
• Plan and carry out all supporting activities for the campaign such as donor events, communications strategies, recognition programs and other related activities and materials.

Divisional Campaign Director – Europe

Bookkeeper

• Perform all duties described below for multiple camps
• Collaborate with other Divisional Bookkeepers in facilitating best practices across camps
• Provide Bookkeeper training annually and as needed
• Maintain all aspects of the camp accounting processes, including financial accounts, reports, reconciliations and cash collection/deposits
• Record transactions including camp fees, expenses, store and snack bar deposits, inter-camp and inter-departmental transfers, camp capital and major maintenance projects
• Prepare month-end and year-end entries for accounts payable and general ledger as required
• Complete monthly reports according to parameters and deadlines set by the Young Life accounting department
• Perform monthly reconciliation of the bank statement and accounts receivable aging report
• Assist with monthly financial/statistical reports as directed by administration manager
• Reconcile US Foods clearing account monthly
• Process all camp invoices timely and accurately, reviewing in Concur as necessary
• Figure and pay sales tax as required by state law
• Prepare month end entries for AP & GL as required by the Service Center (SC)
• Use Young Life accounting software and Excel to accurately record accounting transactions on a timely basis
• Record accounting transactions according to Young Life Policy using entries in the Financial and Statistical report prepared by the camp to support all revenue entries
• Complete monthly reports according to parameters and deadlines set by the SC accounting department
• Act as liaison between the payroll department and employee for payroll issues as necessary
• Compare the yearly budget in Lawson to the camp’s budget template
• Assist SC accounting department with year-end close requests
• Assist SC accounting department with external audit inquiries and requests as needed
