About the role
- Develop and implement facility design and construction plans in collaboration with project management team
- Oversee the construction and renovation of facilities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Develop and manage facility maintenance schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and maintenance
- Ensure all facilities are equipped with necessary safety features and comply with health and safety regulations
- Analyze and improve facility processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in facility management to make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software
- Experience with budget management and cost control
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required
