Manage projects through study, design, and construction phases of water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, stormwater pump stations, large-diameter pipelines, and utility work
Serve as primary client contact and advise on project status and schedule
Communicate with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, partner firms, and community or technical groups
Perform and direct complex studies and investigations and prepare reports of findings
Select equipment and materials and approve manufacturer shop drawings
Coordinate project phases to ensure completion within time and budget constraints
Advise Construction Manager on questions or problems arising during construction
Direct assignments, schedule work, and provide technical oversight for engineers, technicians, designers, drafters, and field representatives
Review progress to ensure continuity, conformity, and quality
Check calculations and seal drawings and reports
Maintain and expand technical capabilities to utilize state-of-the-art technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering
10+ years' experience with design of water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and pipelines
