Designer

• Develop 3D models, drawings, and details for dam, levee, and related water resource projects
• Utilize and interpret survey data to build accurate 3D surfaces, cross-sections, grading, alignments, and profiles for existing and proposed conditions
• Interpret sketches, markups, and redlines provided by design engineers and translate them into precise CAD deliverables
• Collaborate closely with engineers to produce construction plans, conceptual figures, and technical drawings
• Apply and maintain company CAD standards and assist in updating templates, styles, blocks, and processes to meet the team’s needs

BIM/CAD Designer – Water Resource Design

General

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of transportation design and planning professionals across four North Texas offices

• Lead conference presentations and client-facing briefings on PFAS regulations, pilot testing methodologies, treatment performance, and design implications.
• Assist in the design, optimization and planning of water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Perform hydraulic analysis, process modeling, and unit process sizing.
• Contribute to evaluations of both conventional and advanced treatment technologies, including MBR, RO, and IFAS.

Water-Wastewater Treatment Project Engineer

• Provide firm-level technical leadership for critical I&C, SCADA, OT, control-system architecture, modernization, commissioning, resilience, and risk decisions
• Define technical direction for the I&C Team, including standards, design frameworks, reference architectures, specification strategy, review expectations, and governance methods
• Guide critical design, integration, commissioning, cutover, startup, and turnover approaches for high-risk water and wastewater projects
• Advise project managers, discipline leaders, client-service leaders, and executive leadership on technical strategy, risk posture, staffing approach, fee assumptions, and recovery actions
• Serve as a senior advisor to clients, owners, project partners, contractors, vendors, and firm leadership on complex technical issues, disputes, claims support, and failure investigations
• Establish QA/QC expectations for I&C deliverables, technical reviews, standards application, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned

• Administer the construction contract by managing, observing, and reporting on ongoing construction on a variety of transportation, water and/or facilities infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications
• Provide support, day to day guidance, and limited supervision of other team members
• Supervise the observation and inspection of ongoing construction work including material sampling and testing as well as measuring qualities
• Review contractor’s work for compliance with contract documents, clarify contract documents for the contractor, and manage contractor requests for payment
• Oversee the development and management of Change/Field orders, Updates to construction schedule, Submittals, Request for Information (RFI), Claims, Pay requests, Construction meetings, and construction closeout process
