Geotech Engineer – In Training
Freese and NicholsEngineer-in-Training focusing on geotechnical designs and client relationships in Water Resource projects. Joining Freese and Nichols to contribute to dam and levee design efforts in Texas.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect, adjust, and correlate data, recognizing discrepancies in results
- Assist with geotechnical designs and reports, including learning slope stability, seepage and settlement modeling
- Become familiar with accepted design criteria and geotechnical methods
- Perform project assignments within defined scope of work and schedule allocations
- Interface with internal and external clients to develop strong working relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering
- 1+ years' experience in a related field
- EIT certification or ability to pass the FE exam within one year of joining
