About the role
- Administer the accurate delivery of financial aid and scholarships
- Employ professional judgment to make changes to FAFSA data elements
- Communicate clearly about documentation needed from students/parents
- Review documentation once received and verify necessary information
- Document situation and changes/adjustments made
- Collaborate with team members to determine daily priorities
- Resolve complex problems by analyzing documents and researching policies and regulations
- Train staff in areas of expertise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the following:
- Financial aid experience
- Working in a fast-paced, high-volume student services area
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications
- Knowledge of the Banner Student Information System is preferred
- 37.5-hour work week
- 13 paid holidays
