• Provide enterprise-level leadership for Washington State University’s web ecosystem.
• Responsible for setting strategic direction, establishing institutional standards, and ensuring the university’s digital presence supports and advances accessibility, brand integrity, enrollment, and system-wide priorities.
• Exercise significant independent judgment, lead cross-functional governance, manage teams directly and through counsel and guidance.
• Serve as the university’s authority on web strategy, architecture, and accessibility for centrally hosted web platforms.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage Washington State University’s web structure and hierarchy, define and clearly articulate web standards to WSU’s web community, and oversee web accessibility strategy for all centrally hosted websites.
• Develop and implement the web operations budget, and supervise the web team and manage the team’s priorities.

• Directly administer, manage, and oversee the day-to-day operations of and strategy for the University Advancement CRM system.
• Collaborate and partner with cross-functional leaders, colleges, units, and departments to continually develop and expand integrated, system-wide CRM strategic plans.
• Be accountable for maximizing the effectiveness of the CRM, improving the advancement and donor experience, and assist in achieving cohesive department and unit goals across the WSU system.
• Lead discussions to identify areas of optimization in the CRM; develop solutions to address business needs via mass imports of data; create new custom fields, workflows, business rules, views, and dashboards.
• Build test scripts, coordinate UAT processes, and communicate proposed changes; roll out any enhancements and troubleshoot identified bugs.
