About the role
- Establish, communicate and implement compliance policies, procedures and training programs
- Collaborate with Government Affairs to proactively monitor and educate business partners on changes in laws, rules and regulations that potentially impact Wiz’s ability to sell its products and services to government entities
- Conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring procedures to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective measures
- Create and deliver training on government ethics and compliance for stakeholders interfacing with public sector customers
- Address compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance to leadership and sales teams on compliance matters
- Investigate suspected compliance violations, document findings, report as appropriate and take appropriate corrective actions
- Support and lead discovery activities to help enter net new highly regulated markets, to include international markets
Requirements
- 8+ years experience with laws and regulations related to areas such as government procurement, and software/SaaS licensing
- Deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing public sector contracts (e.g., FAR, DFARS, etc.) and compliance statutes
- Experience building and managing compliance programs, including risk assessments, audits, and investigations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data and identify potential compliance risks
- Clear and concise communication with various business partners, including senior management, legal teams, and regulatory agencies
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- JD and active bar membership is preferred
- Experience with a government contractor or software company - highly desirable
- Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person and reside in the contiguous United States
