About the role
- Serve as Senior Project Manager in the Site Civil Development practice focusing on industrial projects (flex office, multi-tenant, warehousing, manufacturing, fulfillment centers)
- Apply client expertise, technical knowledge, and creativity to project delivery
- Coach, lead and build a talented project team; provide mentoring and project management training
- Manage client relationships, contracts, project financials, budgeting and forecasting
- Provide leadership and oversight on project planning, design coordination and construction support
- Grow and scale the practice: recruit, expand existing team, and develop market presence
- Collaborate with employees and supervisors to set hybrid schedules that meet project and life needs
- Perform occasional job site visits and travel as required, and work evenings/weekends infrequently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 9+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management and coaching
- Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills
- Knowledge of industrial projects, contracts and project financials, including budgeting/forecasting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Preferred: Project Manager training and/or certifications
- Ability to perform occasional evening/weekend work and job site visits outdoors
- Ability to carry equipment and materials up to 25 pounds (physical requirement)
