About the role

  • AVP responsible for driving operational excellence and executing strategic initiatives for Windsor Communities.
  • Blend strategy with execution to optimize systems, streamline support, and enable front-line teams to achieve efficiency.
  • Lead program management: define, execute, and guide adoption of processes and program management practices.
  • Develop strong working relationships across Windsor Operations, GID IT, and peers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in RFPs/RFIs, vendor relationships, and explore/implement innovative technologies.
  • Maintain configuration of systems/modules such as Yardi and Funnel.
  • Lead and manage the Operational Support Team, develop training protocols, SOPs, and service-level standards.
  • Implement process automation and outsourcing opportunities to reduce manual tasks.
  • Monitor program performance and KPIs; provide SME support to business unit leaders.

Requirements

  • Four-year college or university program certificate.
  • Minimum of 10 years of multifamily operations experience with a proven track record in leadership within the specified field.
  • 7+ years leadership experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience managing large-scale implementations and working in a systems support role.
  • 3+ years of program and project management experience.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities to assist business owners in standardizing forecasting, estimating, reporting, financial tools, and measurement methods.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to collaborate with colleagues in defining operational programs, establishing KPIs, and supporting the adoption of organizational tools and methodologies.
  • Background in management, financial analysis, analytical techniques, risk management, process improvement frameworks, and operational best practices.
  • Proficient at building collaborative relationships and serving as a credible advisor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including analytical thinking, relationship building, and presentation capabilities.
  • Exercises diplomacy, integrity, and practical judgement.
  • Experienced in managing complex scenarios requiring critical thinking and application of best practices.
  • Clear understanding of operations systems, programs, and experience process mapping.
  • Frequently leads meetings and presents to Senior Leadership.
