About the role
- Lead, plan, manage, and execute Professional Services business development activities focused on the platform
- Collaborate with Workday Field Services and Account Executives to drive Workday subscription sales in the Medium Enterprise market
- Help prospects create project plans including resources, timeline, and costs for successful deployments
- Position Workday SaaS Solutions and Platform technologies and apply Workday deployment methodology
- Connect services and sales organizations to support subscription sales and differentiate Workday’s services approach
- Develop deployment strategies, prepare estimates, proposals, Statements of Work, and high-level Project Plans
- Cultivate relationships with Workday Service Partners and assess training needs for prospects/customers
- Maintain accurate prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data
- Lead, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and other contractual documentation
- Provide support for services activities and events
Requirements
- 4-10+ years business, implementation consulting sales and/or subscription sales experience with ERP solutions (focus on Financials or HCM)
- 3-5+ years proven ability with Workday and/or any SaaS Financials and/or Supply Chain Management solutions
- Workday Financials and/or Financial/HR ERP Management solutions experience is Required
- Success and vertical familiarity within consulting or software “as a service”
- Solid understanding of vendors, products, and services in Enterprise application space
- Business insight and business process knowledge in Financials and Accounting
- Project delivery experience as a PM, Architect, Consultant, or Functional lead
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to identify opportunities and optimize costs
- Strong business development skills and ability to build strategic partnerships
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Proven professional services sales experience and consultative selling skills
- Ability to convey benefits of a SaaS architecture to all levels of the enterprise
