About the role
- Lead hiring for Director-level, VP/C-Suite leaders, and L8+ engineers
- Create strong foundational executive recruiting processes
- Manage end-to-end leadership searches from kick-off to close
- Position Whatnot as an employer of choice for exceptional leaders
- Partner closely with Corporate Development team on acquihires
- Leverage data and market intel for executive recruiting function
- Be a strategic advisor to executives aligning leadership hiring with company growth objectives
- Collaborate with People Business Partners, Compensation, and leaders
Requirements
- 10+ years of recruiting experience
- 5+ years in-house focused on leadership hiring at high-growth startups
- Strong track record of hiring executives and leaders across Technical and Business teams
- Deep network of executives
- Comfortable with ownership and fast-paced environments
- Experience working with executives at any level
- Knowledge of using data to influence decisions
- Incredible candidate experience focus
- Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple priorities
