About the role
- Identify and secure new accounts for WEX fleet card programs across the Northeast
- Self-generate leads, prospect and build a pipeline of fleet opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)
- Develop strategic territory expansion plans with sales manager
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills
- Travel 50-75%
Requirements
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition
- Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment
- Ability to sell against the competition
- Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills
- High degree of territory management capability
- Willingness to travel via air or vehicle
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Industry knowledge in fleet management and or commercial payments (preferred)
- Strong relationship management skills (preferred)
- Strong time management skills (preferred)
