Operations

• Support the review and screening of incoming and outgoing payments to identify and prevent fraudulent or suspicious activity. Apply risk-based judgment and conduct due diligence on higher-risk or high-value transactions to maintain the integrity of our payment systems.
• Monitor transaction activity to detect unusual patterns, behaviors, or anomalies. Review and analyze transaction and operational data to surface potential risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Investigate, document, and escalate fraudulent or suspicious activity related to card and bank payments. Partner closely with risk and compliance teams to determine appropriate actions and strengthen preventive controls.
• Work directly with organizers and clients via email, phone, and video calls to resolve payment and operational issues. Balance customer advocacy with risk awareness, ensuring timely, clear, and pragmatic resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Risk, Compliance, Product, Legal) and external partners to support daily operations, address complex cases, and continuously improve workflows and tools.
• Take ownership of a wide range of ad-hoc operational projects as business needs evolve. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, support cross-functional initiatives, and contribute wherever operational support is needed.

Payment Operations Specialist

Chief of Staff

• Serve as an operational partner to the CEO, acting as an “air traffic controller” for leadership priorities, initiatives, and communications.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, agendas, and follow-ups to ensure decisions translate into action.

• Serving as the strategic business partner to Sales leadership, owning leading indicators, forecasting integrity/metrics, pipeline health, corporate and ad hoc reporting, and revenue risk visibility across segments and regions.
• Working within the broader Commercial Operations team to drive lead-to-cash optimization by aligning sales process, CRM, and customer journey stages to improve conversion rates, margin visibility, and forecast accuracy.
• Translating data into action by delivering executive-level insights on coverage, productivity, win rates, pricing trends, and capacity planning.

Global Director of Customer Support

Accountant

• Owning the full AP process, including posting invoices and matching bank/cash movements
• Presenting the weekly AP and Cash Talk (discussing what to pay and where to move funds with the Finance team (exposure to management)
• Managing the accounting email inbox
• Processing data entry and reconciliations
• Performing weekly bank reconciliations independently
• Managing employee expenses (Ramp)
• Review spend through third party Travel & Expense (T&E) platforms for appropriate accounting treatment
• Owning mid-level month-end tasks and reconciliations such as: Accruals, Fixed Assets, Payroll liabilities, Intangible assets, VAT returns
• Classification Controls: ensuring invoices are recorded in the correct General Ledger (GL), and all expenses are accurately mapped to their respective departments
• Investigate cash reconciling items in a high volume low dollar transaction based business
• Supporting the team with various other ad-hoc reconciliation and projects
• Supporting the team through various annual and quarterly financial audits, reviews, compilations etc.

• Managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients.

• Manage the payment operations team: allocate tasks, hold regular 1:1s, track operational metrics, oversee projects and periodic tasks such as 1099-k filings
• Handle critical payment escalations from customers, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with customers, internal teams and external partners
• Collaborate with our Payment Service Providers to ensure seamless service to our customers and their clients
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to risk and compliance measures, and recommend improvements
• Lead process improvements internally and with PSPs to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Be available on an occasional basis outside of standard working hours, including weekends, to address urgent payment-related matters or time-sensitive escalations
