💰 $162,000 - $202,500 per year
About the role
- Develop and negotiate engineering and procurement (EP) and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for ES/New Nuclear Plant, Advanced Reactor and Energy Storage business segments
- Ensure agreement with WEC Legal and other WEC organizations for terms and conditions flow downs
- Lead as an important member of the offer team for new plant offers and review/develop contract or commercial agreements
- Develop and negotiate all agreements that support execution of the prime agreements
- Support associated internal governance review process (LOA) and complete CRET form inputs
- Draft executive management briefing materials communicating updates/status of negotiations and agreements
- Be primary commercial interface to partners and develop contracting models, consortium and shareholder agreements
- Support Supply Chain and other teams in development of flow down terms to suppliers and evaluate tender commercial requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in new plant EPC contract development and negotiation
- Technical and commercial project management skills
- Knowledge of power industry contracts associated with engineering, operation, maintenance, construction, and supply chain
- Experience with project management, contractual negotiations, and related financial management tools
- Broad knowledge of products and all related engineering disciplines
- Experience with contract terms and ability to react to changing situations
- Commercial contract skills and knowledge
- Degree in Engineering, Legal, Business or related discipline required
- Experience in terms and conditions for EPC contracts is required
- Experience in Nuclear helpful
- JD degree coupled with business experience or engineering degree helpful
- Minimum of 15 years of global commercial and contract development experience (approximately 180 months)
- Previous leadership experience preferred
