Professionally represent Western Steel Buildings and understand company mission and guiding questions
Sell and manage buildings 5,000+ square feet in specific markets
Work with the National Sales Manager to implement strategies to increase sales in assigned territory
Sell and manage new Western Steel Buildings projects from initial client contact through construction and completion
Be proficient in technical aspects of Western Steel Buildings, including reading blueprints, site planning, snow load, wind load
Demonstrate proficiency in building project processes from breaking ground through site work, foundation design, electrical planning, HVAC, fire sprinkler systems, insulated panels, custom finishes, etc.
Be familiar with steel building applications across industries (industrial, commercial, equestrian, oilfield, agricultural, aviation, etc.)
Proactively identify and establish relationships with potential clients; follow up with all client inquiries in a timely fashion
Draft purchase orders for management approval, collect deposits, and draft uniform design approval documents and preliminary design documentation
Finalize steel building designs with clients and collect completed uniform design approval documents
Sell recommended accessories and add value to clients and projects
Partner with the service team to facilitate building fabrication, delivery, and installation
Coordinate referral client inquiries to Western Steel Buildings
Collect/solicit client reviews (Google, Yelp, etc.) after delivery and installation are complete
Travel required: approximately 40%
Requirements
APPLICANTS MUST BE SITTING IN KENTUCKY STATE
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the construction industry, preferably with metal buildings or related products/services
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards is highly desirable
Proficiency in reading blueprints, site planning, snow load, wind load, etc.
Proficiency in internal metal building design software
Be knowledgeable about all facets of Steel Buildings from design to completion, including a general understanding of steel erection and concrete work
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet targets; strong negotiation and closing skills
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
Ability to respond to written/email inquiries same business day (if received before noon) and return phone inquiries within 60 minutes
