About the role

  • Execute the division's strategic plan to meet the Bank's annual growth and customer retention targets
  • Serve as Leasing product specialist supporting sales efforts to new and existing customers
  • Coach Relationship Managers and their customers across the bank on leasing products
  • Work with Portfolio Management staff to resolve issues or facility refinancing for existing customers
  • Structure and advise clients on various lease structures and determine credit worthiness
  • Lead individual sales efforts to grow the Leasing portfolio; support bank-wide sales teams and manage portfolio health
  • Be informed of parameters regarding transaction pitches and negotiation of term sheets
  • Facilitate credit structuring development process, customer assessment, and presentation to senior and divisional loan committees
  • Foster strong working relationships with partner departments and support compliance, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service
  • Manage the team’s outside network of referral sources, vendors and appraisers
  • Travel to prospects and Regional Sales teams as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 7 years of Lending and/or Deposit Sales, Credit Administration or other related financial services experience
  • Leasing Product expertise and ability to coach Relationship Managers and their customers across the bank
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring, pricing dynamics, and market specific awareness
  • Ability to structure and advise clients on various lease structures and determine credit worthiness
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to work with Portfolio Management staff to resolve issues or facility refinancing
  • Travel to prospects and Regional Sales teams expected, primarily in our Southwest footprint
