Execute the division's strategic plan to meet the Bank's annual growth and customer retention targets
Serve as Leasing product specialist supporting sales efforts to new and existing customers
Coach Relationship Managers and their customers across the bank on leasing products
Work with Portfolio Management staff to resolve issues or facility refinancing for existing customers
Structure and advise clients on various lease structures and determine credit worthiness
Lead individual sales efforts to grow the Leasing portfolio; support bank-wide sales teams and manage portfolio health
Be informed of parameters regarding transaction pitches and negotiation of term sheets
Facilitate credit structuring development process, customer assessment, and presentation to senior and divisional loan committees
Foster strong working relationships with partner departments and support compliance, risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer service
Manage the team’s outside network of referral sources, vendors and appraisers
Travel to prospects and Regional Sales teams as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
7 years of Lending and/or Deposit Sales, Credit Administration or other related financial services experience
Leasing Product expertise and ability to coach Relationship Managers and their customers across the bank
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring, pricing dynamics, and market specific awareness
Ability to structure and advise clients on various lease structures and determine credit worthiness
Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
Ability to work with Portfolio Management staff to resolve issues or facility refinancing
Travel to prospects and Regional Sales teams expected, primarily in our Southwest footprint
