Director

• Oversees the development and operations of aquatics programs, and/or other programs
• Recruits, trains and supports assigned staff
• Develops, organizes and implements high quality, member-focused YMCA aquatics programs
• Establishes new program activities and expands program within the community
• Assists in recruitment, hiring, training, developing schedules of diverse staff and volunteers as needed
• Monitors daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations
• Ensures records of staff certifications are current and complete
• Lifeguard and teach swim lessons when needed
• Assists in oversight of on-site and off-site aquatics facilities
