About the role
- Translate and copy-edit marketing, life sciences, investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy materials
- Use CAT tools (XTM, Phrase, Trados, Smartling) and Jira to manage localization tasks
- Ensure native-quality Tigrinya localization that accounts for cultural nuances
- Collaborate across multiple accounts, programs, and global teams in North America, Europe, and Asia
- Support training data transformation for NLP by collecting, annotating, and evaluating content as needed
- Use MS Word and MS Excel for documentation and deliverables
- Perform other essential duties to meet client and project requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content
- Professional level understanding of English (US/GB)
- Native level expertise of Tigrinya as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances.
- Candidate should be well versed with various CAT tools like- XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling
- Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Desirable: Translation degree or, if other degree, 3 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
