About the role

  • Oversee development and execution of “move money”, balance management, and statement visualization epics and features working in partnership with stakeholders including business, risk, digital, testing, legal and compliance
  • Recruit, mentor, and nurture a high-performing agile product development team
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and professional development planning
  • Identify and address skill gaps within the team, including identification of appropriate training or coaching
  • Oversee agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach teams adopting the best practices for continuous delivery and improvement
  • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts that hinder team progress, escalate promptly as necessary
  • Collaborate with product owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring inputs are clear, actionable, and aligned with business strategy
  • Oversee the execution of product development from ideation to testing, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards upheld
  • Champion customer-centric thinking, encouraging teams to seek feedback, iterate rapidly, and deliver meaningful value
  • Work with Product Development leader to manage resource allocation and capacity planning
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to align expectations and goals
  • Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on team achievements, challenges, and areas for growth
  • Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
  • Foster a culture of transparency where challenges are surfaced and addressed quickly
  • Lead root-cause analysis sessions to learn from setbacks and prevent recurrence
  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics
  • Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field
  • Experience in product development, software engineering, or related roles
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product management principles
  • Demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate, coach, and resolve conflict within teams
  • Proven track record of delivering complex products on time and within budget
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
  • Exceptional problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Candidate must be willing to work onsite from one of the stated locations listed in the job posting on a hybrid schedule
