About the role
- Contact customers with past-due or outstanding balances via phone, text, and email
- Provide billing support and explain account balances clearly in both English and Spanish
- Secure payment through one-time payments, payment plans, or settlements
- Accurately document all contact attempts and outcomes in Salesforce
- Escalate disputed balances or complex cases as needed
- Work collaboratively with the Billing, Customer Support, and Collections teams
- Meet and exceed monthly performance goals related to recovery, accuracy, and compliance
- Follow internal procedures and industry best practices for fair and ethical collection efforts
- Language requirement: bilingual position; fluent in English and Spanish
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Collections / Accounts Receivable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain detailed notes
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience working with sensitive financial or customer information
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and payment-related conversations
