About the role
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead complex cross functional strategic initiatives to transform and mature Waymo’s outsourced service delivery
- Build strong supplier relationships; evaluate supplier performance and drive supplier excellence; support quarterly business reviews
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure service needs are met and resolve escalations as needed
- Advise stakeholders on workforce classifications and risk management strategies for extended workforce operations
- Work with internal clients and suppliers to develop supplier strategies, finalize clear statements of work and service level agreements
- Act as a liaison between Waymo and Google to support and improve the onboarding process
- Implement new processes, systems, frameworks or policies to address Waymo’s vendor enablement needs
- Provide oversight for strategy, governance and life-cycle operations across temporary staff and outsourced services workforce
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5-8+ years of work experience in vendor management with experience running scaled outsourced operations
- Proven program management skills, from strategy and design through to execution and measurement of complex, large-scale initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communications skills (language: English)
- Experience managing large complex programs with multiple partners and stakeholders across cross-functional teams (preferred)
- PMP or CCMP certification (or similar) helpful but not required (preferred)
- Strong consulting and analytical skills (preferred)
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills (preferred)
- Comfortable operating in a high-paced, changing work environment with ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks (preferred)
