About the role
- Lead complex engagements with PayPal product teams to ensure new products meet card network guidelines
- Identify issues and recommend best practices for risk management
- Lead functional projects and programs to enhance risk assessment and mitigation
- Collaborate with teams to analyze business trends and implications for risk management
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance effectiveness of risk management strategies
- Maintain the central repository and governance for receiving, tracking, prioritizing and communicating card network requirements
- Partner with leadership and stakeholders to evaluate product changes and impacts to payment network obligations
- Provide network compliance subject matter expertise and recommendations while preserving consumer experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Expertise in payment network rule and scheme release protocols
- Preferred: 5+ years working in a card acquiring environment
- Experience maintaining central repositories and governance for requirements
- Experience evaluating product changes for payment network obligations
- Subject matter expertise in network compliance for payment solutions
- Ability to partner with leadership and internal stakeholders
