About the role
- Drive commercial growth across Watchmaker’s genomics product portfolio
- Deliver accurate revenue forecasts throughout the fiscal year
- Develop and implement territory sales plans and deliver to commercial targets
- Research and evaluate all accounts within the assigned region to identify key growth opportunities
- Travel to customer sites for meetings, exhibitions, and networking
- Build and maintain relationships to identify and investigate pain points
- Consistently deliver on commitments to customers through prompt responses
- Communicate customer requirements promptly and clearly to internal teams
Requirements
- 3+ Years NGS sales experience into high throughput labs and core facilities in the UK and Scandinavia
- BSc or higher in the field of molecular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with NGS applications with sufficient technical acumen to sell cutting edge molecular biology products
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and earn trust
- Strong organisational, task management, and prioritisation skills
- Fully competent in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
- At least 50% travel expected
- Support from Customer Service, Technical and Applications Support teams
