About the role

  • Provides specialized support in HR data and records management
  • Utilizes Workday to process, troubleshoot, evaluate and support decisions aligned with university policies and data governance standards
  • Ensures on-time and accurate completion of transactions/data entry in a high volume HCM
  • Enters and audits monthly and biweekly payroll documents for accuracy and timeliness
  • Quickly and effectively responds to all departmental questions related to transactions
  • Facilitates problem resolution across HR/Payroll with limited escalations
  • Maintains established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Participates in business process testing and initiatives as appropriate

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
  • 2 years of experience in a large, complex Human Resources/Payroll Service Center Environment
  • Computer Navigation skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Office
  • No specific certification is required for this position
  • Prefer two or more years of college courses in accounting, business, human resources (policy/procedures/law), and/or computer science
  • Experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll and leaves of absence
