• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various technology roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and all administrative aspects.
• Develop and execute creative and effective sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and local leadership to understand their hiring needs, provide guidance on market trends, and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
• Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience from the initial point of contact through to the offer stage.
• Partner with the People Partner team to support the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all new employees have a smooth transition into the company. This includes coordinating with IT, managing documentation, facilitation orientations, and ensuring a warm welcome.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, talent landscape, and competitor activity in the Bangalore technology market to provide valuable insights to hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and pipeline status.
• Act as an ambassador for Warner Music Group, promoting our culture and values to potential candidates.

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Accounting Manager

• Manage the integration of acquisitions into to the monthly close process
• Manage the monthly close process including analysis, general ledger entries, and reconciliation review
• Support recorded music label finance by answering questions and performing ad hoc requests
• Work with team to complete submission to corporate and review of related schedules submitted to Corporate and Labels in conjunction with the monthly/quarterly financials
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements including drafting and updating process narratives, and maintenance of requirement documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with finance personnel of domestic as well as international affiliates/business units, internal/external auditors, 3rd party vendors, as well as other divisions within WMG
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required by Division and/or Directors
• Manage, coach, and develop team of 6-8 members

Analyst

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute participation profit share and distribution statements according to contractual agreements
• Compile and review transactional data to support statement reporting
• Interpret, and summarize artist and label contracts, create related statements and financial schedules, provide contractual and financial data for deal models and analysis
• Apply your financial accounting skills: review profitability analysis, identify variances and trends, create commentary to explain insights from financial statements, perform reconciliations, update cash forecasts and budgets, investigate audit issues and claims
• Follow department financial controls and policies, communicate deficiencies and gaps to management
• Maintain vendor master data, input, code & co-ordinate payments
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the company (up to senior executives), follow up open work items, respond to requests from internal and external partners
• Communicate status & escalate issues as appropriate to your manager
• Learn WMG operational & accounting systems, develop expertise in participations accounting & operations
• Represent and contribute to the culture of the Participations group

Analyst, Participations

Manager

• Manage the preparation, review, reconciliation & distribution of Participation distribution and profit share statements according to contractual agreements
• Manage team workflow and delivery, meeting department service levels and KPIs
• Oversee the use of systems, reporting tools and related controls to deliver accurate statements to our artists and third parties
• Finalize, review & approve financial reconciliations, cash forecasts and budgets, advance recoupment and Participations expense and balance sheet entries
• Oversee SOX compliance and internal controls, respond to audit requests
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across the company at all levels, as a primary contact for our internal and external partners
• Communicate status & escalate issues as appropriate to senior management
• Master WMG operational & accounting systems, further expertise in participations accounting & operations
• Contribute ideas and help lead process transformation, innovation, and improvement of team operations
• Demonstrate people management capabilities: coach and develop staff and contribute to the culture of the Participations group
