About the role
- Lead and manage store teams (Member Experience, Fresh Area, Merchandising, Fulfillment, Freight Flow) across South Carolina
- Delight members and grow sales by applying an omni-merchant mindset and the EDLP and EDLC business models
- Develop associates, create talent management processes, and build high-performing teams
- Model Sam’s Club values; act as a culture champion and servant leader
- Implement continuous improvements and encourage team use of digital tools and new ways of working
- Use strategic thinking with data, analytics, and customer insights to shape team strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally and influence business partners to achieve objectives
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and cold chain requirements where applicable
Requirements
- 2 or more years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience with 6 months' supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 1 year's SAM'S Club experience; OR 3 years’ military experience
- Preferred: Environmental Compliance or related field
- Preferred: Retail profit and loss statement management experience
- Preferred: Supervisory experience
- Preferred: Warehouse experience with cold chain compliance
- Must comply with Walmart and subsidiaries' drug-free workplace policy (no tolerance for illegal drugs and alcohol)
