Lead the development of Walmart’s global IP policies and external-facing guidance, ensuring clarity and regional legal alignment.
Oversee external-facing guidance, internal training content and rollout strategies to improve notice handling and reduce escalation risk.
Manage SOPs, workflows, and templates to support scalable enforcement operations across Walmart’s ecommerce platforms.
Monitor global IP risk trends and partner with stakeholders to proactively update policies and protocols.
Manage a team including direct reports, dotted-line contributors, and offshore support agents.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure consistency and clarity across markets.
Oversee operational execution of enforcement strategy and strengthen Walmart’s brand protection posture.
Provide training, guidance, and operational workflows to ensure consistent, clear, and customer-trust-driven IP practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
3–5+ years of experience in intellectual property enforcement, brand protection, or legal operations.
Proven ability to develop and communicate policy across global teams and external audiences.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of IP concerns in ecommerce and regional legal nuances.
Expertise in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and trends to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification listed as preferred.
Master's in Business Administration listed as preferred.
