About the role
- Leading the work of other small groups engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects
- Troubleshooting business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information
- Leading the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design
- Developing Innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading internal technical teams
- Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs
- Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in UI design and development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven hands-on expertise with front-end technologies: React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI development and design projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire UI/UX teams
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG standards), and adaptive design principles
- Comfortable working in a distributed team and communicating asynchronously
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders and engineering partner to build solutions
- Plan, implement, maintain, and lead technical projects
- Responsible for hiring, manage team and performance appraisals
