About the role
- Conduct remote semi-structured interviews (via Phone) with older adults from diverse backgrounds
- Gather meaningful feedback on participants' experiences and satisfaction with services
- Independently organize and manage interview schedule
- Conduct interviews with empathy, creating a comfortable, unbiased environment
- Track call dispositions and access participant information through an online file-sharing platform
- Record interview outcomes, resolve inconsistencies, and submit findings
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with federal HIPAA regulations and data security
- Maintain regular communication with Vital Research for updates and support
- Attend mandatory virtual training (mid-September)
- Adhere to interview schedule requirements: Monday–Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time
- Use provided technology and personal equipment as needed
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Vietnamese with ability to fluently speak, read, and write in both English and Vietnamese
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Zoom and other web-based platforms
- Comfortable working with individuals with disabilities, with sensitivity to their needs
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and establish rapport with participants
- Equipped with a personal computer and a secure Wi-Fi connection
- Organized and attentive to detail to ensure accurate completion of tasks
- Mandatory virtual training beginning mid-September; availability Monday–Saturday 9 a.m.–7 p.m. local time for interviews
- Willingness to undergo background check and use personal protective equipment when required
- Ability to independently organize and manage interview schedule
- Experience with tracking call dispositions and using online file-sharing platforms (desired)
- Previous research fieldwork or interviewing experience (desired)
- Familiarity with group homes or day centers and working with individuals with disabilities (desired)
- Sales-minded, energetic, and resilient candidates encouraged (desired)
