About the role
- Proactively expand industrial camera business with existing customers
- Grow and cultivate new customer relationships in various applications
- Develop territory, achieve sales budget and monitor sales cycle
- Search for new customers benefiting from industrial vision solutions
- Visit potential and existing customers
- Work with product management and support teams for assistance and education
- Develop long-term relationships by managing customer requirements
- Listen to customer concerns and advocate for client’s cameras
- Negotiate contract terms to meet customer and company needs
- Calculate customer quotations and administer accounts
- Prepare weekly update reports for Sales Director
- Meet and exceed sales targets and coordinate sales projects
- Support marketing activities at trade shows and conferences
- Make technical presentations demonstrating product capabilities
- Liaise with sales team and technical experts
Requirements
- True passion for delivering results through others and own sales activities
- Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish
- Technical background to understand potential applications
- Understanding of basic image processing and machine vision
- Great presentation abilities one-on-one as well as in groups
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Degree in engineering or similar but skills and experience carry more weight
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Proven as a proactive self-starter with a high drive
- Resourceful and capable of learning fast and independently
- Structured and systematic approach, planning and tracking customer activities using CRM tools
- Ability to develop and maintain strong long-term relationships
- Good blend of empathy and assertiveness
