About the role
- Maintains and Ensures compliance with legal requirements, including federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour and safety regulations
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance for all mandatory and non-mandatory training, procedures, etc., including anti-harassment training and personnel file required data
- Maintains and manages all records (electronic and paper) in accordance with legal requirements
- Master HRIS database administrator (ADP WFN), ensuring accuracy of data, report writing, and auditing
- Supports recruitment and facilitates hiring, collaborates with managers on skills/competencies, and advertises openings
- Responsible for recruiting processes from Requisition to Hire: advertising, ATS administration, offers, onboarding, documentation
- Benefit administration setup via ADP WFN and support annual open enrollment
- Conducts compensation analysis for new hire requisition approval, internal equity, and annual comp reporting
- Partners with VP on leave management tools, runs reports, follows up, and audits
- Worker’s compensation administration: maintain procedures and documentation
- Maintain Manager’s resources folder and ADP portal with current documents
- Respond to EDD inquiries and take action as requested
- Perform routine HR tasks: compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, occupational health and safety, training and development under VP direction
- Prepare reporting obligations for regulatory compliance (annual and ad hoc: EEO, etc.)
- Provide general office support such as supply ordering
- Deliver clear, accurate, and professional communication with employees and leaders regarding policies and labor laws
- Present compliance-related training (Workplace Violence Prevention, Sexual Harassment, etc.)
- Manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and refer complex matters
- Partner with vendors and facilitate payroll collaboration with consultants for accurate and compliant payroll
- Handle employee relations, train management, and take actions to protect company liability
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software
- Proficiency with ADP WFN or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems; managing the vendor of services for best service and optimal utilization of tools
- Best practice standards and innovative implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field ideal
- At least 1 - 3 years of human resource experience preferred
- SHRM or other certification a plus
