Accounts Payable and Invoices: Ongoing management of suppliers, consultants, and payments (Accounts Payables), including handling withholding tax exemptions for foreign suppliers and using the expense management system.
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance: Processing invoices, reconciling bank and credit card statements, VAT reporting (mainly suppliers), posting journal entries, accruals, and monthly and quarterly closings.
Accounts Receivable and Collections: Generating invoices, monitoring Accounts Receivable (AR) aging, collections, closing receipts and reconciliations, including handling complex invoices, and creating and uploading invoices according to client requirements and their internal systems.
Payroll and Labor Law: Responsibility for end-to-end payroll preparation in Israel, including tax and National Insurance deductions, reporting to pension funds, and managing the ongoing payroll process. Providing support for working with global external payroll.
Reconciliations and Financial Reports: Reconciling bank and credit card statements, preparing cash flow statements, generating monthly management reports, supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and tax reports.
International Reports and Filings: Monthly reporting - preparing and uploading foreign reports to the accounting system according to global requirements.
Requirements
5+ years of experience.
Bookkeeping Certificate Level 2 - Mandatory.
Significant experience with bookkeeping up to trial balance - Mandatory.
Experience working with a Controller and CPA - Mandatory.
Experience in payroll accounting roles - Significant advantage.
Experience with NetSuite - Big advantage.
High proficiency in Excel , including using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
High-level English - The ability to conduct professional conversations with contacts both domestically and internationally.
Ability to work independently , with a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and proactivity.
