About the role
- Oversee fleet maintenance operations across multiple locations
- Ensure all vehicle maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and fleet compliance requirements are executed safely and efficiently
- Provide leadership and oversight of in-house maintenance shops
- Manage relationships and performance with third-party maintenance providers
- Drive fleet reliability, vehicle availability, regulatory compliance, and maintenance cost performance.
Requirements
- AA degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 7 to 10 years prior experience managing fleet operations in 300 to 500 vehicles
- Prior experience of operating and managing a fleet shop is preferred
- Must be a proactive manager with excellent interpersonal skills
- Expertise in vehicle preventive maintenance systems, parts procurement, purchase order process and inventory management
- Ability to read P&L, analyze spending, and implement cost reduction initiatives.
