About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewals Manager to oversee the customer contract renewal process, maximize retention, and support revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the Renewals team, ensuring alignment with company goals and achievement of performance targets.
  • Individual Contribution: Own and execute renewals within assigned territories, directly engaging with customers to close deals.
  • Manage the Renewals Process: Oversee the end-to-end contract renewal lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Retention & Upsell Opportunities: Identify expansion and upsell opportunities, working with Account Managers and Customer Success to maximize account value.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong customer relationships, reinforce solution value, address objections, and secure long-term loyalty.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate renewal forecasts, track renewal KPIs (renewal rates, churn, expansion revenue), and report regularly to leadership.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to streamline renewals, resolve escalations, and ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve renewal strategies, tools, and team workflows to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and finalize renewal contracts in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience is a plus, not a must — ideally 5+ years in renewals, account management, customer success, or sales, with some leadership exposure.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Smart, eager, and proactive learner with the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) — required for managing a diverse customer base.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and analyzing data for decision-making.
