About the role
- Serve as main strategist connection between IT capacity and client business objectives
- Oversee creation and maintenance of product strategy, roadmap, and product requirements
- Guide team in developing the product from discovery to post implementation support
- Create product strategic plan and define long-term and near-term vision
- Plan and maintain product roadmap, release plans, and agile/sprint roadmaps
- Define product requirements, translate research into technical specifications, define MVP
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog; write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Plan sprints, lead Agile ceremonies, and facilitate team meetings
- Accept user stories or product features (UAT, sign off) and write release notes
- Review and monitor project metrics; create performance reports
- Collaborate to estimate work effort and monitor scope, time and resource usage
- Identify, report and escalate issues with actionable recommendations; approve production releases
Requirements
- 5+ years in Product Ownership/Product Management
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, artifacts, and ceremonies
- Best practices driven
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex digital products with measurable business impact
- Team management experience
- Analytical mindset and excellent organization skills
- Proactive and hands on
- Continuous improvement oriented
- Eager to learn and challenge each day aiming to reach team's goals
- Advanced proficiency in English and native Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Science, Electronics (highly required)
- Experience with Scaled Agile or SAFe (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (nice to have)
- Knowledge of UX / UI / Design Thinking (desirable)
