About the role
- Territory Manager position will be expected to work with the Authorized Dealer locations and individual Farmers/Growers/end users of Väderstad owned Concord, Wil-Rich, Wishek, Seed Hawk, and Väderstad brands.
- TM will be expected to evaluate Dealer and Customer requirements and be the business driver to expand respective areas.
- TM will be responsible for working with Väderstad and Authorized Dealers to develop a business plan that focuses on expanding Väderstad market share and sales volume.
- TM will be expected to participate in new equipment training to develop a sales and performance perspective and technical expertise, and also, to acquire a full understanding of how our equipment functions when in use.
- The TM will be involved in field demonstrations, particularly in new and expanding markets.
- The TM will collaborate with the localized field team and assist in organizing field activities in conjunction with other colleagues.
Requirements
- Agricultural or Farming experience
- Strong knowledge of dealer sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Knowledge of building best practices.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
- Some knowledge of fiscal management and budgets.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
