About the role
- Develop and communicate clear analytics strategies and initiatives that align with business impact and goals
- Lead an analytical, action-oriented team and foster a culture of career development
- Prioritize analytics efforts based on business impact
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, product and finance teams to inform data-driven strategies
- Provide actionable insights (not simply reporting) to inform cross-department decisions
- Work closely with IT to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Use data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from diverse data sets
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to drive business decisions
- Develop predictive models to optimize customer targeting, product merchandising and marketing priorities
- Audit, create and maintain reporting dashboards for key performance metrics
- Present concise insights and findings to senior leadership
- Ensure data visualizations are accessible and interpretable by non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and implement a comprehensive customer retention strategy to boost repeat purchases, loyalty, and CLV
- Oversee retention programs including SMS, email, push notifications, personalized offers, and loyalty platform technology
- Develop strategies to grow retention channel databases, especially SMS
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., statistics, economics, computer science)
- Proven experience (10+ years) in analytics, strategy and other data-driven decision-making roles within e-commerce or fashion industry
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of cross-functional partners
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of e-commerce metrics and retail KPIs
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling
