About the role

  • Lead Finance Automation & AI Integration; identify inefficiencies and deploy automation solutions to optimize finance workflows and support company growth.
  • Oversee and prioritize automation opportunities within the finance area; recommend effective solutions and act as AI and technology champion within the Finance team.
  • Present AI-driven use cases to promote AI adoption across DocPlanner.
  • Act as Finance SaaS advisor; provide guidance on tools to enable Docplanner growth and utilize AI/ML solutions for efficiencies and compliance.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional initiatives (M&A, business/market/product launches/changes, new finance enhancements).
  • Create training materials, conduct workshops, and maintain up-to-date documentation to support systems adoption and best practices.
  • Deliver primary assistance to users by resolving system problems and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT based Business Administration or equivalent is a must.
  • A Master degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance operations, including direct responsibility on finance systems and processes (PTP, OTC, RTR).
  • Tech-savvy (or tech-curious) mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised.
  • Hands-on approach and positive “can do '' mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations, prioritizing effectively, and leading projects autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Zapier, Make, 8n8 or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full professional proficiency and ability to work in English, written and spoken; knowledge of any other group language highly preferred.
  • A big plus will be: NetSuite experience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
  • Ability to create dashboards using financial data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Must already have the legal right to work in your country of residence or the location of the role.
