About the role

  • Deliver data-driven operational improvements across the organization by analyzing performance and identifying inefficiencies
  • Partner with leadership across operations to improve cost control, productivity, inventory accuracy, labor effectiveness, and customer experience
  • Develop data models, KPIs, interactive visual dashboards, and insights to improve distribution center performance including throughput efficiency, labor utilization, inventory control, and replenishment cycles
  • Provide ad hoc and project-based analysis to support tactical decisions and long-term strategic planning
  • Design and maintain end-to-end business intelligence solutions with operations, distribution, and senior leadership teams to drive KPI performance and accountability
  • Build tools and reports in Excel and Qlik Sense to simulate scenarios, streamline decision-making, and enhance performance tracking
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical teams to enable data-led operational action

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, modeling, Power Query)
  • Professional experience with Qlik Sense, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools
  • Prior experience with Python to support data cleaning, modeling, and reporting (required)
  • Ability to connect operational data to business goals and identify high-impact opportunities
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills; ability to work independently with cross-functional partners
  • Operational exposure to routing logistics, delivery territory optimization, or direct-store delivery (DSD) service models
  • Prior experience in refreshment services, food/beverage logistics, or field-based distribution environments (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of SQL or HTML is a plus but not required
