About the role
- Serve as the strategic lead for Oura’s Membership business: define and evolve pricing, packaging, add-ons, channels, and business lines
- Partner closely with executives and senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Data Science & Analytics, and Member Care
- Drive LTV growth via retention-first initiatives, monetization levers, and member-friendly programs
- Translate business objectives into scalable membership programs (loyalty, bundles, international expansion)
- Build and own frameworks for measuring membership health (activation, engagement, retention, churn drivers) and forecasting impact of initiatives
- Champion data-driven segmentation and design personalized member journeys
- Explore and test new membership adjacencies and services while maintaining simplicity and trust
- Influence membership narrative and strategy at executive and board levels
- Operationalize membership roadmap and ensure cross-functional delivery aligned with company goals
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in business and strategy roles
- At least 5 years specifically in the subscription/membership space
- International experience is a plus
- Proven ability to design and evolve scalable subscription or membership models (ideally consumer health, fitness, fintech, or adjacent categories)
- Strong analytical fluency: leverage data, build forecasts, and translate insights into clear strategies
- Experience driving retention and lifetime value through segmentation, personalization, and experimentation
- Skilled cross-functional leader and influencer, comfortable aligning executives and teams across disciplines
- Thrives in fast-paced, global environments with high ambiguity
- Excellent communicator and storyteller with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders
