About the role

  • Serve as the strategic lead for Oura’s Membership business: define and evolve pricing, packaging, add-ons, channels, and business lines
  • Partner closely with executives and senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Data Science & Analytics, and Member Care
  • Drive LTV growth via retention-first initiatives, monetization levers, and member-friendly programs
  • Translate business objectives into scalable membership programs (loyalty, bundles, international expansion)
  • Build and own frameworks for measuring membership health (activation, engagement, retention, churn drivers) and forecasting impact of initiatives
  • Champion data-driven segmentation and design personalized member journeys
  • Explore and test new membership adjacencies and services while maintaining simplicity and trust
  • Influence membership narrative and strategy at executive and board levels
  • Operationalize membership roadmap and ensure cross-functional delivery aligned with company goals

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in business and strategy roles
  • At least 5 years specifically in the subscription/membership space
  • International experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to design and evolve scalable subscription or membership models (ideally consumer health, fitness, fintech, or adjacent categories)
  • Strong analytical fluency: leverage data, build forecasts, and translate insights into clear strategies
  • Experience driving retention and lifetime value through segmentation, personalization, and experimentation
  • Skilled cross-functional leader and influencer, comfortable aligning executives and teams across disciplines
  • Thrives in fast-paced, global environments with high ambiguity
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders
