About the role
- Serve as Upway’s face on the road delivering and picking up e-bikes across the Los Angeles area using an Upway-branded van
- Provide professional, customer-friendly handoffs at each delivery, including basic bike set-up support when needed
- Support daily warehouse operations during non-driving hours, including packaging, moving, and preparing bikes for shipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and warehouse inventory movements
- Collaborate with the warehouse and customer support teams to ensure smooth scheduling, routing, and on-time deliveries
- Uphold Upway’s safety, vehicle use, and quality standards to protect customers, team, and brand
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or warehouse role
- Strong attention to safety and the ability to operate a large van in urban and suburban environments
- Comfort with physical work, including lifting and moving bikes (up to ~70 lbs with assistance)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on the road
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to jump between driving and warehouse tasks as needed
- Ability to use basic technology tools (routing apps, warehouse software, communication platforms)
- (Nice to have) Experience handling bikes or e-bikes (repair, assembly, or retail background)
- (Nice to have) Interest in sustainability, mobility, or the cycling industry
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with the Los Angeles area and efficient routing/delivery practices
