About the role
- Build a high-value sales pipeline by prospecting, attending events, networking, and cold outreach
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their unique needs, present solutions, and discuss project scope, timelines, and objectives
- Conduct discovery calls with qualified leads
- Develop Mutual Action Plans with opportunities
- Expertly deliver across all stages of the sales cycle
- Manage complex procurement, commercial, and legal processes to close new business
- Navigate long-term strategic engagements while implementing quick wins to shorten the sales cycle
- Work with Sales Leadership to optimize sales processes and the overall strategy of the US office
- Establish strong lines of communication between pre-Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product
- Contribute to new market strategies, demonstrate UpSlide's unique value proposition, and establish key competitive differentiators
- Report to the Vice President of Sales and collaborate within a team of three and wider sales team of ten
Requirements
- At least three years of experience closing deals
- Competitive hunter mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding targets
- Experience in prospecting and originating qualified opportunities
- Experience selling B2B enterprise technology/software
- Consistent track record of managing a sales pipeline and achieving objectives
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Consultative, solution-selling approach to sales
- Confidence presenting and speaking with senior-level executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and goal-driven mindset
- Availability to work two to three days in New York City (hybrid)
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with financial and professional services
- (Nice to have) Fluency in another language
