About the role
- Lead work to create opportunities for Unlearn to gain access to and use important data resources across clinical trials, observational studies, registries, real world datasets, and other sources.
- Collaborate with executives to define the data strategy for particular product lines and indications.
- Drive the execution of data acquisition, including negotiating data usage agreements, pricing, and in-kind services.
- Work with internal teams to define data requirements for targeted acquisition, technical evaluation of data quality, and resourcing for partnership projects.
- Survey and understand the landscape of available data to characterize opportunities for specific indications, products, or use cases.
- Manage multiple efforts operationally and convert opportunities into data access; own projects end-to-end and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience at a pharmaceutical/biotech company, or a technology or technical services company in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- A strong understanding of clinical research and the general landscape of data from different types of studies.
- Excellent external communication and interpersonal skills.
- Application asks whether candidate resides in the United States and whether they are located in the San Francisco Bay Area and can come into the office at least three days a week (location/commute expectations).
- Work authorization considerations: company supports H1B, TN, and E-3 visa transfers (implied sponsorship support).
- Bonus points for: Strong experience in oncology.
