About the role
- Drive The Data Lab activities across academia, industry and the third sector from the Glasgow Hub
- Lead business development activities and deliver multi-million pound projects
- Develop business plans, proposals and provide financial oversight
- Work with industry, public sector and academic partners to deliver economic and social benefits to Scotland
- Act as a key member of the Business Development Team, representing The Data Lab and contributing to community building and skills programmes
Requirements
- Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Cognitive Science advanced degree, or equivalent
- Significant business development experience with a successful track record of achievement in the delivery of multi-million pounds activity
- Experience in business planning, proposal development and financial oversight
- Ability to work with industry, public sector and academic partners with a business focus
- Must be able to evidence right to work in the UK; University will not consider applicants requiring sponsorship
